A busy time for Balbriggan Tidy Towns

A busy time for Balbriggan Tidy Towns

The local Tidy Towns have been very busy during the past few weeks. The group warmly welcomed the new art work at the train station designed/painted by the very talented local artist Lauren Moorebird. We are very grateful that she gave up her time to add a splash of fun to our pollinator garden. A big thank you also to Ronan’s neighbour Dave for using his expertise to safely secure it to the fence. Helping us Transport the large 8X4 sheets from Lauren’s house was Stephen from Midlands East Construction, thank you very much for that! Also to Dominic Buckley from Irish Rail for always being pro Tidy Towns and helping us in all our endeavours, Thank you. Also during the past month two new Tidy Towns benches were installed at the Martello park. We hope you enjoy the amazing scenery from them. We are very grateful for funding from LCDC and installation from Fingal Co Co. Please keep the area clean. Finally many thanks to Pat Dowling for donating this second beautiful boat to us as it’s a lovely feature for our seaside town. Thanks also too to all our volunteers who worked so hard and cleaned it, filled it and planted it with beautiful flowers.
