Culture Night 2020 is on in September. The Bleeding Pig Cultural Festival usually runs in and around this time. Unfortunately we had to postpone it this year but we did promise that if possible we would hold some “safe” events. On Saturday 19th September Donnacha Cahill’s giant pop–up audio visual sculpture “The Gramophone” will appear at various locations throughout the Donabate Portrane Peninsula. In a musical encounter not to be missed, this crafted masterpiece resonates with stunning sounds, as it connects to the electronic audio speaker.Be part of the story of this giant gramophone and experience fantastic sounds amplified by the acoustic properties of its large conical horn by sending in your favourite musical requests to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.The Gramophone’s creator Donnacha Cahill is a professional artist from Athenry, County Galway who works mainly in steel.
