Lusk United were informed recently that a parent of a club member had tested positive for COVID 19.Therefore the club had taken the decision to suspend all underage football activity with immediate effect for the wellbeing of all their members, their families and the wider community. However,we are delighted to announce that the tests from our member’s children came back negative and under guidance from the FAI & HSE we are safe to return to training as per training schedule. We would like to thank everyone for their messages of support and we’d like to once again commend the family in question for their swiftness and decisiveness in dealing with the covid situation and wish them a speedy recovery. In relation to the latest restrictions announced recently teams will have to separate their groups into pods of 15 people maximum:- Kids team (13 players & 2 coaches) - Adults team (14 players & 1 coach)We have all seen the effect a covid case has had on our club and community with the complete shutdown of football for a number of days. While the club did everything it could to protect its members and the wider public we need to continue our efforts around COVID-19 protocols.Thank you. Stay safe.
