A huge Go raibh Maith Agat to Maria Carrick for inviting the Swords Mens Shed recently to visit Chayanne, Princess, Penoply, Lakota and the beautiful foal Jem. These magnificent draught horses are the largest and tallest horses in the world, dating back to mid-eighteenth century. the breed is now considered at risk but with the dedication of Marie and her family the breed is being preserved for future generations.
