The Bleeding Pig Cultural Festival announced that the 2020 Festival, due to run from 10-20 September, will not take place as originally planned this year.Larry Carolan on behalf of the committee and team at The Bleeding Pig Cultural Festival, said: ‘“We are so disappointed to announce that The Bleeding Pig Cultural Festival, as we know and love it, will not happen in its 8th year this September. The decision follows consultation of the Government’s roadmap for reopening society and business, and ongoing consultation with artists and partners. The health and safety of audiences, artists, volunteers and local citizens, remains the top priority and all activity will be within Government guidelines. We would like to sincerely thank all our sponsors, thelocal business community, schools, churches, volunteers, friends and audiencesfor their continued support and commitment to our Festival over the past years and we hope that we will be back again in 2021 to deliver your Festival in a safer and more settled time.In the meantime we will continue to update our Facebook page and website with items we feel will interest our audience and if things improve and we feel that it is safe to run an event or two later in the year we will!
