Open Evening – Friday 18th November As part of Fingal Inclusion Week, Balbriggan Meals on Wheels is hosting an Open Evening at 14 Hampton Street from 7.00pm to 9.00pm on Friday 18th November. Come along and learn more about what we do, what service we offer in our community, learn about volunteering opportunities and meet our team. - Fundraising Raffle – Throughout November -Balbriggan Meals on Wheels is holding a Raffle over the coming weeks with eleven fabulous prizes, (Hotel stay, Vouchers, Hampers to name but a few!). This is to help raise funds for our work in the local community. Please support our volunteer ticket sellers who you will meet out and about in the town and help make this raffle a great success. The draw will take place at our Christmas Fair on 26th November.- Christmas Fair - Saturday 26th November - Balbriggan Meals on Wheels is holding a Christmas Fair on Saturday 26th November from 12.30pm to 2.30pm. A great opportunity to get your Christmas shopping started whilst supporting a good cause! - In advance of the Christmas Fair, Balbriggan Meals on Wheels will be accepting donations of new, unused items that we can sell. So now might be the time to go through your cupboards and clear out any unwanted gifts that you might have. Donations can be left to 14 Hampton Street, Monday to Saturday between 9am and 1.00pm. All proceeds raised go towards Balbriggan Meals on Wheels. - Pop up Shop – Throughout November- Our Pop up Shop will be open on Friday mornings up to and including Friday 18th November. Come along and get some bargains and enjoy a Tea or Coffee with friends. Teas & Coffees only €2 !! Bargains galore!
Balbriggan Meals on Wheels provides meals to the most vulnerable people in our community; they are people who are referred to us by Public Health Nurses and Social Workers. We operate six days per week and currently provide in the region of 80-100 meals per day in the wider Balbriggan Community.
