The Donabate/Portrane Community First Responder team has been active for over two and a half years, responding to life-threatening emergencies within both communities.

All members are volunteers and rely entirely on donations to purchase additional defibrillators—both for responders and for public access points across Donabate and Portrane.

The group is currently exploring new ways to raise funds for this vital equipment. One of the latest initiatives is a poster campaign featuring a QR code that makes it quick and easy for people to donate. These posters will be displayed in local shop windows, in the hopes to encourage more residents to contribute.
